What to Expect on Your First Visit
Arrival
On your first visit to our office our receptionist will greet you with a warm smile. You will then be asked to fill out our required forms which will help us gain some information about yourself and your condition. You can also print these forms by clicking here and then bringing them to your first appointment filled out and ready to go.
Consultation
The purpose of the initial consultation is to create an environment for communication between you and your doctor. The doctor will take this time to get to know you, familiarize himself/herself with your condition and explain thoroughly what he/she proposes to do today. It is also when we will go over our fees, so that there are no surprises down the road.
Examination
During the examination, the doctor will assess the condition of your spine and nervous system, looking specifically for vertebral subluxation. In addition, the doctor will perform a “hands on” palpatory assessment of the spine and its motion and observe any postural abnormalities. As a result, the doctor will be able to specifically identify the level of subluxation. The doctor may also recommend that you have X-rays taken.
Findings
The doctor will report to you what he has found only after thoroughly reviewing your history, examination and x-ray results. The doctor will then review his findings with you and outline the different care options available.
Treatment
Finally, the doctor will develop a treatment plan that is right for you. Most treatment plans involve adjustments. An adjustment is a method by which the doctor removes interference to the nervous system by restoring normal motion and alignment to the spine. All of our doctors are also Medicare providers. We also accept Cash, Workers Compensation and Personal Injury cases. For your convenience, we will file all necessary insurance forms with your primary insurance carrier.
